Rooms
Several rooms on campus are equipped with hearing assistance systems in the form of a fixed or portable loop system. To use a portable loop system, an additional audio kit is required. This can be obtained from the receptionist or on-site in the room.
Aula
Academiezaal and Senaatszaal: A mobile induction loop system is available; please ask at the front desk.
Berchmanianum
Chapel: A mobile induction loop system is available. The audio kit is located near the lectern; you can help yourself to it and use it.
Elinor Ostrom building
Theater Hall C: Mobile induction loop system available.
Lecture Hall 01.630: Fixed loop system available
Grotius building
Lecture Hall 0.100: Fixed loop system available
Maria Montessorigebouw
Lecture Halls 00.025, 00.029 en 00.035: Fixed loop system available
Facilities
Sennheiser Tourguide
Available in both large halls of the Aula and in the Chapel.
To be used exclusively with headphones or a hearing loop.
1. On/Off button
Here you can turn the device on or off. Press and hold the button briefly.
2. Information screen
Here you can see the selected channel, the volume, and the battery status.
3. Volume control
Turn the dial to set the desired volume.
4. Channel selection.
Select the desired channel. The receiver is already tuned to the correct channel.
In the Aula, you can request the receiver at the reception desk
The microphone is located in the lectern in the chapel; please speak to a Radboud University staff member for assistance.
Phonak Roger Mylink
Available in Theater Hall C
Works as an induction loop or use headphones.
1. On/Off button
Here you can turn the device on or off. Press and hold the button briefly.
2. Volume control
Stel het gewenste volume in door op de + knop te drukken voor harder, de - knop voor zachter.
3. Mini-jack
You can plug your headphones into this port.
The receivers are stored in Theater Hall C. Please speak to the technician on duty; if they are not present, please ask at the reception desk of the Elinor Ostrom Building.
The Phonak system in Theater Hall C is outdated, so the receiver's battery may run out quickly.

Fixed loop system
If a room is equipped with a permanent loop system, it can be used by setting the hearing aid to the âTâ position.
Please note that not all hearing aids have this feature.
