Starting up the equipment

1. Activate the touchscreen
Touch the screen with your finger. You will now see the Welcome screen.

2. Start up the equipment
Touch the screen again to switch on the equipment in the hall.

3. Check the start-up status
Once the equipment has booted up completely, the Start screen appears and the system will be ready for use.

Use of the equipment

1. Room name
The name of the room you are in is displayed here.

2. Using a laptop
Select this option if you are using a laptop connected via the USB-C or HDMI port. The green square next to the source selection indicates whether there is a signal on the cable.

The information screen (6) explains how to share your laptop screen.

3. Picture mute
Press this button to hide your laptop screen. The screen will no longer be displayed on the projector or LCD screen, nor will it appear in the web lecture recording. The button flashes yellow when it is activated.

4. Media volume
Press this button to adjust the volume on your laptop. You can do this in the information screen (6). See Infoscreen Media volume.

5. Microphone volume
Press this button to adjust the volume of the microphone in the room. You can make this adjustment on the information screen (6) Zie Infoscherm Microfoonvolume

Tips and menus are displayed here.

7. Help
Press this button to access the Infoscreen Help.

8. Switching off the system
Press this button to switch off the entire system. All equipment will be switched off and will no longer be operational.

9. Language selection
Select the language you wish to use for the touch screen here.

Infoscreen Media volume

1. Mute media volume
Press this button to mute the media volume on your laptop. The sound will no longer be audible in the lecture hall or in the web lecture recording. The button flashes yellow when it is activated.

2. Adjusting media volume
Move the slider to the left to turn the media volume down and to the right to turn it up. You can also adjust the media volume on your laptop itself by clicking the speaker icon in the bottom right-hand corner (Windows).

3. Media volume display
This value indicates the level at which your media volume is set.

Move the slider to the left to turn the microphone volume down and to the right to turn it up.
