To make best use of teaching time, you can replace a test with Mastery Credits. MemoryLab offers a solution by continuously monitoring the learning process with a computational cognitive model. This model is updated during learning and indicates at any time how well each fact is mastered. When enough facts are sufficiently well mastered, AI algorithms indicate that ‘mastery’ has been achieved, making traditional tests unnecessary.

If half of your students want to use MemoryLab and the other half do not, you can offer different exam options. Students who use MemoryLab and obtain Mastery Credits do not have to answer the knowledge questions in the exam. Students who do not use MemoryLab will still get these knowledge questions in the exam.
