Starting the meeting
Go to the calendar in Teams.
- Click the meeting.
- Click Join.
- Check whether the microphone and speakers are set to the correct devices.
- Check whether your camera is on.
- Check whether your microphone is on.
- Click Join now.
How do I configure my microphone and audio during a meeting?
It may happen that your sound doesn't quite work as it should. This could be because your laptop or desktop has the wrong audio or microphone selected.
- Click the arrow next to Mic.
- Select which speaker you want to use.
- Make sure that your sound is not muted.
- Select which microphone you want to use.
How do I configure my camera and view during a meeting?
During a meeting, you can also change the settings of your camera and view.
- Click on the arrow next to Camera.
- Choose which camera you want to use.
- Choose a background (e.g., a blurred background)
- If wanted, set up other video effects and settings.

To create a poll in a Teams meeting, you need the Microsoft Forms license. You can request a license in the accountportal.
Ending the meeting
Click Leave in the upper right corner of the meeting screen. You will now leave while other attendees can stay in the meeting.
As a (co-)organizer you can also end the meeting for all attendees:
- Click the arrow next to Leave.
- Click End meeting.
