Turnitin replaces Ouriginal from 1 September

Radboud University is switching from Ouriginal to Turnitin for plagiarism control. From 1 September Ouriginal will no longer be available. For the upcoming test period you can still use Ouriginal but from 1 August you have to prepare courses with Turnitin. For further questions, please contact the TIP of your faculty. Automatically add certificate issuer

When creating an Award of the type Certificate, you can now use a replace string to automatically display the first and last name of the issuer on the certificate.

Validating feedback
Have you received verbal feedback (e.g. from a teacher, internship supervisor, or peer)?

• Create a written summary of the feedback and add it as a comment to the relevant item.
• Ask the feedback provider to check if the summary is accurate.
• They can then validate the feedback with a checkmark.

Long and short goal names
The fields for goal names have been updated:

• Name: can now be up to 100 characters long (this was previously the short name).
• Nickname: used in overviews and limited to 20 characters.

Linking subgoals to activities
In a template, you can now link not only goals but also subgoals to an activity.

Archiving templates
If you have permission to create templates, you can now archive a template.

• The template will be removed from the list of active templates.
• Students can no longer import the archived template.
• The template remains available in the archive for reference.

Goal Repository
As a template builder, you can now create a library of goals.

• This allows you to easily reuse goals across multiple templates.
• If you edit a goal, the changes will only apply when a template is newly imported.
• Previously imported templates remain unchanged.
