Brightspace
All self-study modules are available
All self-study modules available to students, including those from Portflow and The Write Space, are now also accessible to lecturers. This enables lecturers to gain an insight into the material and support offered to students.
Portflow
Feedback snippets
Template creators can add feedback snippets (short pieces of text) to a feedback request. Students can use this pre-filled text to indicate what kind of feedback they are expecting, thereby providing the person giving feedback with more context. More info.
Progress reviews for selected sub-objectives
During a progress review, students can now choose which sub-goals to include. Previously, only main objectives could be selected, in which case all underlying sub-goals were automatically added.
User synchronisation is disabled
In order for students to be able to find a lecturer when sharing a portfolio, the lecturer must have opened Portflow at least once so that an account can be created automatically. This is because the weekly synchronisation of Brightspace users with Portflow has been disabled. As a result, lecturers and fellow students who have not previously opened Portflow are not automatically visible in the system.
