A number of roles exist within H5P, each with different rights:

• Learner - has access to the published content. This role is only assigned to students and possibly to employees who have to work with the content.
• Author - can create, edit and publish content.
• Super user - can create, edit, publish and delete content. Unlike the Administrator, a Super user only has rights within a certain environment, for example one faculty.
• Administrator - can create, edit, publish and delete content for the entire organisation. The Administrator can also manage all users and make new content types available for the users.
